Autonomous Flight
Real-time Network Connection

The technology of autonomous flight eliminates the possibility of failure or malfunction caused by man-made errors. Without
any concern about controlling or operating the aircraft, the passengers can just sit and enjoy the journey.
Flight routes will be surveyed in advance to preset multiple feasible plans for the user. EHang AAV uses 4G/5G as the
high-speed wireless transmission channel to communication smoothly with the command-and-control center, thus enabling
remote control of the aircraft and real-time transmission of flight data.

Visual Positioning
For Vertical Takeoff & Landing

Traditional infrastructure such as large airport or runway is not required, suiting the scenario
demands of urban air mobility and serving as an effective way to relieve the current traffic
congestion pressures.

Electric Green Power

EHang AAV uses electric power to reduce environmental harm caused by emission. The aircraft
can be fully charged in two hours. The charging devices can communicate in real
time with the aircraft Battery Management System (BMS).

Comprehensive Management
by the Smart command-and-control Center

EHang command-and-control center is equipped with a set of intuitive AAV command-and-control system that
provides the five core functions of monitoring, dispatching, controlling, early-warning and centralized management.

Monitoring
The command-and-control center has a visualized platform that displays the real-time flight data and status of EHang AAV, including battery level, flight altitude, speed, attitude, position, etc. and enables real-time video/audio communication between passenger and ground personnel.
Dispatching
The command-and-control center can enable well-organized flight of multiple EHang AAVs simultaneously via route planning and coordination, thus improving the traffic efficiency of EHang AAV air mobility network.
Controlling
In case of failure or malfunction of EHang AAVs, the command-and-control center can take appropriate measures to remotely control the aircraft and safely land it to a nearest available location.
Early-warning
In case of any emergency with the flight network environment, the command-and-control center will send an early-warning signal to the in-flight EHang AAV and take corresponding measures based on actual circumstances.
Centralized Management
The command-and-control center features fleet management by enabling coordinated control of multiple aircraft and deployment of multiple flight routes simultaneously.

Safety Ensured by Redundancy
Design and Fail-Safe System

The Fail-Safe safety system serves as a reliable guardian by equipping itself with multiple-redundant
protection plans. The system can monitor each airborne device and acquire its operating status
and health condition, and then transmit the information back to the command-and-control system.
In case of any abnormal condition, a smoothest route will be selected and executed based on the
preset algorithm logic to safely take the passenger to the destination.

Flight Testings and Quality Certification

Hundreds of testing subjects, including static test, load ground test, load flight test, durability test,
reliability test,environmental test, anti-interference test, etc. under all kinds of inclement environments
such as high/low temperature, high humidity, salt spray, typhoon, rainstorm. EHang has been granted with
the certificate of AS9100D International Aerospace & Aviation Quality Management System Standard.
